The Cliff Edge (Poem)
I feel like an hourglass- my sand is running out
And with every granule comes more doubt
My memory of you is older than the time we spent together.
I don't understand why I am here?
I see other people living their lives as I claw back mine
shedding the timeline as I go:
I spend my good days filled with fear
(Be grateful be gracious the cliff edge is near)
and I fall down again through rock bottom
Did you know there's no end?
The bottom of a rolling rock
is simply the top again.
